Meet Julianna Zobrist

Julianna Zobrist is the lovely wife of MLB player, Ben Zobrist. Her 35-year-old hubby, currently an Infielder for the Kansas City Royals. Her hubby’s teams is currently leading the ALCS 2-1 over the Toronto Blue Jays.

Ben spent the first nine years of his career with the Tampa Bay Rays, he was traded to the Oakland A’s in January. By late July he was traded to the Royals.

Julianna Zobrist might not be as well known as her man, but truth be told, she is a star in her own craft. She is a Christian music artist. She sang the national anthem before Game 1 of the ALDS, in case you missed it.

Julianna Zobrist is very active on social media, she keeps her and her hubby’s life on the road, well documented. By now, 10-years-into their marriage, she’s well, very used, to it. In fact, she wouldn’t know it any other way.

After they married, Ben was traveling in the Astros’ minor-league system. The couple drove from city to city in a Chevy Malibu. Now, they still make it work, by having a couple of rules. One that includes never spend more than six days apart.

Julianna has always wanted to make music, but her hubby’s career and becoming a mother, changed up her view on life and now says

“My biggest aspiration now is to be able to make music but while keeping our family together,” “I’ve had to say no to a lot of things — touring, shows around the country, record deals. It’s not worth it in the end for my family or my relationship with my family to suffer because I want a career.”

However, slowly but surely, she has dedicated time to her passion. She has released three albums and her newest single, “The Dawn,” is Ben’s walk-up song as he comes to the plate.

Julianna and her hubby have a joint website. According to the zobrists, Julianna Zobrist was raised in a family of eight. Her father is a pastor of an evangelical church in Iowa. She describes her childhood doing a lot of “church things.”

According to her Facebook bio, it was Ben who gave her a midi keyboard, microphone, and a laptop equipped with a recording program, as a wedding gift.

Julianna Zobrist and Ben tied the knot in 2005. They are the proud parents of 6-year-old son, Zion Zobrist and 4-year-old daughter, Kruse. Lovely, Julianna Zobrist is currently pregnant with child number three!

Meet Judy Wilpon

Judy Wilpon is the wife of 78-year-old Fred Wilpon, the majority owner of the New York Mets. Judy’s husband is also known for his real state ventures.

Fred played baseball until his first year in college when a torn rotator cuff in 1956 cut his career short. His time on the Michigan baseball team was short but never imagined in 2014, almost 6 decades later, the complex on the athletic campus that includes the baseball stadium would be named in his family’s honor.

To become the chairman and CEO of the New York Mets, Fred first became co-founder and chairman of the board of Sterling Equities.

He is also the director on the board of SportsNet New York. Since co-founding Sterling Equities in 1972, Mr. Wilpon has led its growth and evolution over four decades, amassing extensive experience in all aspects of the real estate, sports and media industries. He also supports a number of philanthropic organizations such as the University of Michigan Morris B. Kessler Presidential Scholarship, The Robert J. McGuire Scholarship at St. Francis College and Welcome Back Veterans. Mr. Wilpon received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan.

He began his undertake of the Mets in 1980. By 2002, the Wilpon family purchased the remaining 50% of the Mets. He served as president of the team between 1980 to 2002, as Chief Executive Officer since 1980 and as Chairman of the Board since 2003.His wife Judy has been there, every step of the way.

Judy Wilpon was born Judith Kessler, she is 79-years-old. She met her husband while attending college. She hold a degree from the University of Michigan, where she graduated from in 1958. She is the daughter of Irene and Morris B. Kessler.

According to an article from the New Yorker, following her graduation. Judy Wilpon got a job as a secretary. It was her husband who got her another job interview for what would become the Metropolitan Baseball Club. (later the name was shortened to the Mets) and which Judy landed. She would leave her job years later to raise her children, but her love for baseball never left.

Judy is passionate about education, healthcare, animal health. She has kept active helping those causes close to her heart. Judy Wilpon recently established the Judy Wilpon Professor of Cancer Biology at the Baker Institute for Animal Health.

Judy Wilpon and her, baseball executive husband, have given $12 million on behalf of the Fred Wilpon Family Foundation.

The couple are the parents of three adult children. Judy Wilpon is the mother of daughter, Robin Wilpon and sons, Jeff and Bruce Wilpon. Her daughter Robin, is married to Phillip Wachtler. Jeff Wilpon is perhaps the best known of the three, as the COO of the Mets. While Bruce Wilpon is a manager at Lerer Hippeau Ventures.

Meet Ali Connor

Ali Connor is the girlfriend of 31-year-old MLB player, Chris Colabello. Her man is a baseballer for the Toronto Blue Jays, who are currently one game under the Kansas City Royals. It can all be decided in tonight’s game 6 of the ALCS. Winning tonight would be the perfect birthday gift to Colabello, who’s birthday is tomorrow! October 24th.

You’ve probably heard Chris Collabello’s story but for those just checking in, here is some helpful info. Chris was born in Italy to a baseball-playing expat American father. He later relocated to Massachusetts and attended Assumption College in Mass.

He went undrafted and spent seven years in independent leagues. Chris played winter ball in Mexico in 2012 and in the Dominican Republic last winter. He reached the majors aged 29. As a result of his travels, he speaks fluent Spanish and Italian.

The Jays saw him as ideal Triple-A insurance. When he was called, he had just been honored as the International League’s player of the month. He was batting .337 with 18 RBIs and a .975 OPS, according to The National Post.

Colabello has been a revelation for the Blue Jays, coming out of nowhere to hit .321 with 15 home runs this season.

Like most MLB girlfriends, Ali Connor is super supportive of her man. It might also help that she is a fitness and outdoors junkie. Ali loves all things outdoors but this chick also knows a thing or two about sports. She is an avid golfer. From hiking to running half marathons, Ali Connor sure keeps very active. What athlete would like to work out with his girl huh! Plus, burning all those carbs can be very helpful when going out to nice dinners with your guy. They have been together for a few years now.

Not much more is known about pretty Ali Connor. According to her Facebook page, she attended Worcester State University in Worcester, Massachusetts. Her mother is Laura Connor and Ali has one brother, Ryan Connor. Her brother got married to Leanne Connor a few months ago.

According to Telegram, Ali Connor is next in line to walk the isle. It appears Chris popped the big question and they’ve been engaged since February.

It is an exciting time to be wearing the Toronto Blue Jays uniform. The Jays, had a big 7-1 win in Toronto on Wednesday and though they need to beat the Kansas City Royals twice in a row to advance to the World Series, we’ve seen anything can happen in sports.

It’s a decisive night with game 6 going down and a potential game 7 for tomorrow. 27-year-old left fielder for the Toronto Bluejays, Ben Revere and the rest of his teammates know it.

While playing for Lexington Catholic High School, he received a number of awards during his junior and senior seasons.

Revere has been playing in the Major leagues for five-years know. The Georgia native was picked in the first round of the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft by the Minnesota Twins. Ben played in their farm system for three seasons before getting the call to Major League Baseball in late 2010.

The baseballer played with the Twins until his trade to the Phillies in 2012. Last July he was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for Alberto Tirado and Jimmy Cordero.

He’s under club control through 2017, and he is making $4.1 million in his second year of arbitration eligibility. Ben was hitting .298 with 20 extra-base hits and 24 stolen bases in 29 attempts through 96 games this season.

Blue Jays general manager Alex Anthopoulos said of Ben “contact with speed, left-handed and range. The role would be corner outfield, left field and having range in the outfield. He has done a very good job in the corners.”

Ben has been described as a speedy, left-handed hitting outfielder with range in the outfield and some ability to reach base. He has next to no power –just three home runs in 2,414 career plate appearances — and a weak throwing arm, but considerable experience at the MLB level.

Revere has spent the majority of his career in centre field, but he has experience in both outfield corners.

As for his personal life, the young player seems very close to his family. He often posts photos of his mother and his grandfather. Ben definitely has a sensitive side, though no girl seems to be in his life for now. Plus those deep Georgia roots show in his beliefs, he says on Twitter: “love God my family and friends God Bless!!!”

You can tell, he takes care of those close to him, so his future girl will sure be a lucky one.

Meet Jennifer Pena

Hot fitness competitor and model Jennifer Pena, is the girlfriend of MLB player, Edwin Encarnacion. Her 32-year-old man is currently an Infielder for the Toronto Blue Jays is on for tonight’s game 6 of the ALCS.

The native of the Dominican Republic was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the ninth round of the 2000 amateur draft. He made his MLB debut in 2005.

He was acquired in a deal with the Reds at the 2009 non-waiver Trade Deadline, sent to the Minors after slumping in 2010, designated for assignment, then recalled the following month. In 2012 his luck made a turn and he agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $27 million — including a $10 million club option for 2016 — in a deal that will keep him in Toronto until at least this season.

She represented the Dominican Community in the USA in Miss Dominican Republic 2008 where she came sixth in place.

Like many beauty queens, she has made a career for herself as a Radio and TV personality in D.R. Most recently she felled into the Bikini Competition industry and she’s doing a pretty good job! In 2014 Jennifer Pena became the overall winner at the Region Norte bikini competition.

It appears Jennifer Pena is quite the competitor. It must run in the family. After all, she is the daughter of former all-star catcher Tony Pena. Her father is one of the most admired and celebrated Dominican baseball players of all time. Jennifer Pena is also the sister of Tony Pena Jr. and Francisco Pena. Both MLB players.

When asked who does she look up to, she said: “My dad, Tony Pena. Because I value his hard work and dedication, and also admire how he got himself and his family out of poverty and focused on making his dreams come true.”

Jennifer Pena grew up in baseball, she makes for a perfect wag and plus has a sick body!

It must be a complicated night for Jennifer Pena. Her brother Francisco Pena plays for the Kansas City Royals and her boyfriend for the Jays! Either way, she’s celebrating tonight!

Meet Vivian Rosado

Vivian Rosado is the mother of MLB player Johnny Monell. She must be one proud mama, her Mets catcher son has an exciting day ahead of him. As you all baseball fans now, tomorrow kicks off Game 1 of the World Series!

Monell was born on March 27, 1986. He hails from the Bronx, so let’s just say he is a proud New Yorker and even prouder Mets member.

The 29-year-old catcher had his nose in the sport all his life. His father played ball for almost 2-decades but never on a professional level. His father, also named Johnny, played in the Mets organization, twice getting as high as Triple-A Tidewater, always stopping there. He also played in Mexico for seven years and five more in the independent Atlantic League.

On the other hand, his father probably saw his dream come true in his son, who was drafted out of high school by the San Francisco Giants. Monell chose to attend Seminole State College, instead.

In 2006, he was drafted a second time by the New York Mets in the 49th round, but he passed on the chance. The following year he was drafted in the 30th round, by the Giants. He finally signed.This year he entered, his ninth season in professional baseball.

Johnny spent last season split between the Baltimore and Dodgers’ organizations, Monell signed with the Mets as a free agent in the offseason.

At a first glance, it appears Johnny is not dating anyone at the moment. No special lady romantically linked to him were found. No girlfriend and even less a wife. But there is one special woman in his life. His mom, Vivian Rosado.

Vivian Monell Rosado separated from Johnny Monell Sr. when their son was just a 7-year-old kid. His father remarried to Rita Monell and together have a daughter, Lacey Veronica Monell.

Johnny Monell Jr. grew up in the Pelham Park section of The Bronx with his mother, Vivian Rosado. He also stayed close to his father, spending the summers with him.

According to the NY Times, baseball was a constant not only with Johnny’s father, but with his mother’s family, too. In fact, Vivian Rosado tell, back in the day, she used to ride her bicycle to Yankee Stadium just to see Bucky Dent walk in, “He was so handsome. I had a crush on him.” Vivian Rosado’s entire family are long time Yankee fans.

Now a days, Monell’s father runs the 220 Second to None baseball academy in Margate, N.J. While his mom roots for him at every game. Vivian Rosado is also the mother of Justin Monell and Luna Sky.

Vivian Rosado currently resides in Florida City, according to her Facebook page.

Meet Heather Gorham

Heather Gorham, is the lovely gal currently dating MLB player, Michael Conforto. Is an exciting night for Heather’s guy. As you probably know, tonight kicks off Game 1 of the World Series! Her man appears in the roster as one of the outfielders for the Mets.

Rookie Michael Conforto arrived from Class-AA Binghamton on July 2014 and immediately lived up to the hype that surrounds a top-20 prospect with his six home runs and a .288/.367/.541 slash.

Conforto was a consistent college performer and was considered the most polished bat in this past draft class. The Mets selected him in the first round of the 2014 MLB Draft with the 10th overall pick.

Sports are definitely a big part of Conforto’s life. His mother, Tracie Conforto is a three-time Olympic gold medalist in synchronized swimming, and his father, Mike, played football at Penn State. While sister, Jacqueline, played soccer at Azusa Pacific University.

And his girl, is not slacking in that department. Heather used to compete in track and field.

Heather Gorham is quite an eye catching woman, she has over a thousand followers on Instagram, though we are sure she is pretty popular among her peers, it’s a given most Wags acquire that kind of attention after being introduced to the world, as the lucky ladies dating famous athletes.

Her boyfriend, is currently in his first MLB postseason. Conforto appeared in the LLWS with the Redmond, Wash., team in 2004 and visited college baseball’s biggest stage in 2013, when his 11 home runs and 47 RBIs helped lift Oregon State to the College World Series, according to Little League International.

But getting back to the lovely Heather Gorham; according to her Facebook page, lovely Heather attended Oregon State University. She is originally from Phoenix, Arizona and currently resides in Corvallis, Oregon.Heather Gorham and Conforto met while attending Oregon State and they are what you would call a new item, maybe that’s why they don’t have thousands of photos together. Brittany Westwood is the lovely girlfriend of MLB player, Tyler Clippard. Her 30-year-old boyfriend is currently a pitcher for the Mets, so you know what that means? World Series in on for the night for pretty Brittany Westwood.

Tyler who is in his 8th year, has come a long way. He debuted in major league while pitching for the Yankees against the Mets on May 20, 2007, at Shea Stadium.Clippard originally was drafted by the Yankees in the ninth round in 2003. He spent one season in the Bronx before getting traded to the Washington Nationalson Dec. 4, 2007.

He joined the Mets last July in a trade with the Oakland Athletics. Clippard said he is grateful to have served as Oakland’s closer during his half-season there. He went 1-3 with a 2.79 ERA and had 17 saves.

But let’s get to the fun part.

Brittany Westwood is one of those wags who just seems like a really, really nice girl. She has a degree, a decent job, and just appears to be she could be your very best friend, heck! You could even ask her for a cup a sugar and she would give you two instead! So that’s what we think, but here are some true facts about her.

According to her LinkedIn page, Brittany Westwood is a clinical pharmacist. She has been working in a hospital for a little over a year. She currently works at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Pretty Westwood was previously a resident at St. Joseph’s where she conducted pharmacological research.Brittany Westwood attended University of Florida from 2007 – 2009, she gained a Associate’s Degree, Pre Pharmacy. From 2009 – 2013 she studied for her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) graduating Magna Cum Laude. According to her Facebook page, she is originally from Tarpon Springs Florida.

According to PlayersWives.com the couple are said to have been together for quite some time, though it is not clear exactly how long. Can you hear wedding bells for these two?

Thought they both have active social media accounts, it appears they are quite hush hush about their relationship. Clippard seems to be a fan of Twitter, sharing personal things as well as Mets-related tweets. However is he not that big on sharing about romantic stuff.

Meet Eleanor Duda

Eleanor Duda is the lovely mom of MLB player, Lucas Duda. It’s a good time to be somehow related to a Mets player, so who better to tell you about than the mother of one of the baseballers defending the Mets in the fall classic –starting tonight!

Eleanor Duda 62, is without a doubt a proud momma. Her 29-year-old son made his MLB debut in 2010. Lucas Duda, who’s family hails from California, attended the University of Southern California (USC) and played college baseball for the USC Trojans.

Eleanor’s son was selected by the New York Mets in the seventh round (243rd overall) out of the University of Southern California in the 2007 First-Year Player Draft.

We all know Lucas Duda is a reserved person, a private guy. He is not interested in fame, it appears he’s not a fan of social media either. That makes it quite hard to know accurately if he is currently dating, but we assume he isn’t. However, there is one constant in his life, his family.

As far as we know, Eleanor Duda and her husband, David Duda are still together. They live in Riverside, California.

Records online show Eleanor Duda worked as a Special Education Assistant at Frank Augustus Miller Middle School. She is also related to William Duda, Justin Duda and Mark Duda. Eleanor’s husband worked at an engineering firm.

Lucas is Eleanor’s and David’s youngest child.

According to a 2012 article, Lucas didn’t say much when at the age 4, he would stay next to his father to watch a game. But he was focused. He became interested in the sport as his older brother played. He got his chance growing up and never looked back. His father reveals, Lucas even declined relatives invitations to go skiing or ride motorcycles.

His father coached him early in his baseball career. He preached balance: Enjoy the game. Respect the game. Understand that the game can confound you.

2015 has been a huge year for Duda. He had his seventh multi-homer game of the season, when he hit two in a Mets loss. Will he manage to do it again? Maybe tonight?!

Francis Escobar is the loving wife of Alcides Escobar the Venezuelan MLB shortstop player who currently plays with the Kansas City Royals. Would you like to meet Alcides’ wife Francys?

Francys Escobar’s MLB stud also known as El Mago (the Magicician) was born in La Sabana, Venezuela on December 16, 1986. He was just 16 years old when he signed with the Brewers for $35,000 in 2003. He made his MLB debut in September, 2008. The Brewers named him starting shortstop in the 2010 season.

Escobar was traded to the Kansas City Royals on December 18, 2010 along teammate Lorenzo Cain. Alcides signed a four-year deal worth $10 million with the Royals in March, 2012. He was named the 2015 ALCS MVP.

Escobar’s wife is Francys Escobar born Francys Goncalves in Venezuela. Francis Escobar got married to Alcides in 2013 in Venezuela, their adorable son Massimiliano was born in Miami, Florida in February, 2014.

This is Alcides’ second marriage, he was previously married to Leury Moreno.

Daniel Volquez

Daniel Volquez, the father of MLB right-handed pitcher Edinson Volquez sadly passed away and wasn’t able to watch his son, pitch the first game of the Series.

Nobody saw it coming, but last night as the Royals and the Mets faced each other, both teams made history in a super aggressive game that took 14-exciting-innings to be defined.

Media outlets say Daniel Volquez, succumbed to heart disease in the Dominican Republic. He was 63-years-old.

32-year-old Edison Volquez didn’t learn of his father’s passing until he finished his pitching. He allowed three runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts over six innings in Game 1.

In December of 2014, the Royals signed the then-free-agent, Volquez, to a two-year deal with mutual option. Before arriving to the Kansas City, Edinson Volquez enjoyed a career year in 2014 with Pittsburgh, going 13-7 with a 3.04 ERA (65 ER in 192.2 IP), holding opposing hitters to a .235 batting average. His ERA ranked 15th among qualifying National League starting pitchers, while his 7.75 hits allowed per nine innings ranked eighth among the league’s starters.

Volquez began his 11th Major League season in 2015, after debuting for the Texas Rangers in 2005. The righty is 66-59 with a 4.44 career ERA, holding opponents to a .252 batting average.

He was a National League All-Star and finished fourth in the league’s Rookie of the Year voting in 2008 with Cincinnati, posting a career high 17 wins, going 17-6 with a 3.21 ERA and 206 strikeouts in 196.0 innings. He was originally signed by Texas as an undrafted free agent in 2001. Along with the Rangers (2005-07) and Reds (2008-11), Volquez has also pitched for San Diego (2012-13) and Pittsburgh (2014). He has also pitched in the World Baseball Classic twice for the Dominican Republic, helping them win the tournament in 2013.

A native of Barahona, Dominican Republic, Volquez resides in Santo Domingo during the offseason with his wife, Roandy and twin daughters, Eylin and Aylin, who were born November 5, 2013.

It was precisely Volquez’s wife, Roandy, who asked the Royals not to tell her husband of his father’s demise. The mom of two, spoke to Royals general manager Dayton Moore and asked him not to say anything to Edinson until he was done pitching. And it was exactly how it went down.

Though the Royals would eventually win, 5-4 and Edisnon Volquez helped his team with the favorable outcome, the news of Daniel Volquez’s death sure puts a sour taste to the final score.

Meet Roandy Volquez

Roandy Volquez is the wife of 32-year-old MLB player, Edison Volquez. Her husband is currently a pitcher of the Kansas City Royals.

Before arriving to Kansas City, Edison pitched for the Texas Rangers (2005), Reds (2008-11), Volquez has also pitched for San Diego (2012-13) and Pittsburgh (2014).

It’s a bittersweet time for the Volquez family as we learn of the passing of Daniel Volquez, Edinson’s 63-year-old father. It’s good to know Roandy Volquez is there to support him during the difficult time.

Roandy Volquez who is also a Dominican Republic native is also the mother of the couple’s twin daughters. Roandy Volquez gave birth to Eylin and Aylin, on November 5, 2013. They have been together for over a decade.

Roandy Volquez and her husband have sure gone through a lot together. In 2010, her man was suspended for 50 games after he tested positive for a banned substance. In a statement, the then 26-year-old Volquez, vehemently denied the claims that he had been taken PEDs, saying that he had received a prescription in the Dominican Republic as part of a fertility treatment to start a family with his wife.

According to Playerwives.com, Roandy Volquez had already lost a child and the couple was trying to get pregnant again.

Now, the family is hit with the news of Daniel Volquez’s death and it couldn’t come at a worst time. Roandy Volquez had to make a difficult choice thinking probably on what was best for her husband.

It was her, who asked the Royals management not to tell Edinson of his father’s death, until he was done pitching for what many call, Edinson Volquez’s biggest start of his life.

Though some reports seem not clear on whether Edinson knew or not about his father’s death going to the mound, Roandy request was to ‘let him pitch.’ And he did.

Edison Volquez allegedly, didn’t learn of his father’s passing until he finished his pitching. He allowed three runs on six hits and a walk with three strikeouts over six innings in Game 1 of the World Series.

He and Roandy left the game a few hours before it’s exciting ending. The Royals eventually won, 5-4 in 14-extremely-competitive-innings.

Assuming Edison had no clue about his father’s death, was Roandy Volquez right to withhold the sad news from her hubby?

When Roandy isn’t cheering for her man front row, she and her hubby usually spend the offseason in Santo Domingo with the rest of their family.

Fabricia Orlando is the amazing, loving and pretty wife of Brazilian MLB outfielder Paulo Orlando who is one of the spectacular players of the Kansas City Royals. Before joining the major leagues, Orlando played in the minors. Baseball is not a sports Brazilians commonly opt for, they would prefer to beach volleyball and soccer, but it was after a Japanesse doctor that his nurse mother worked with made the suggestion that Orlando discovered baseball. Orlando born and raised in Sao Paulo. Brazil was born like many Brazilians with an athletic dna, so besides baseball, he played soccer and track and field. He competed for the Brazilian Junior Olympic Tea.m (200 meter sprints and 400 meter dash), but baseball was just there around the corner waiting for him, and by 2005 he quit the track and field team and focus on baseball.

He played in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic before he signed a deal with the White Sox in 2005 where he quickly gained notoriety for his speed and defensive outfielder play. The Kansas City Royals didn’t waste time and traded pitcher Horacio Ramirez for Orlando to the White Sox in August, 2008; however it was until the 2014 season the Royals added him to their 40-man roster.

Orlando made his debut with the Royals on April 9. Paulo hit his fifth triple in his first seven games on April 20 and his first homerun against he New York Yankees on May 26, and hit a walk-off grand slam against the Tampa Bay Rays in July 7.

Paulo Orlando’s wife is Fabricia Orlando born Fabricia Silva, mother of his beautiful five-year-old daughter Maria Eduarda. Fabricia and little Maria still live in Brazil, but she flew to Kansas to watch her husband play for the first time in the majors where the Royals defeated the Detroit Tigers 4-1; Maria stayed in Brazil and Fabricia stayed in the U.S for a few days, she said that if the Royals renew her husband’s contract she could relocate to the U.S.

Linda Alderson is the wife of Mets GM Sandy Alderson. Her 67-year-old husband collapsed during a press conference earlier today!

Reports say Alderson announced Terry Collins’ new contract with the Mets. Alderson hit the floor while discussing Terry Collins’ contract extension with reporters on Wednesday.

The NY Daily News reported the baseball exec was standing in a group of reporters when he suddenly went quiet and began to lose his balance. Reporters and photographers helped him get back on his feet.

According to an online profile, Mr. Sandy Alderson has quite the resume. He has been the General Manager of The New York Metropolitan Baseball Club, Inc. since October 2010. Mr. Alderson served as the Chief Executive Officer at Padres L.P. He served as the General Manager of The New York Metropolitan Baseball Club, Inc. from 1983 to 1997 and President from 1993 to 1995. He was the architect of the Oakland Athletics teams that played in three consecutive World Series from 1988 to 1990 and won the championship in 1989. He served as the Head of Latin American Oversight at Major League Baseball until November 2010.

In his role as MLB’s Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations from 1998 to 2005, Mr. Alderson oversaw baseball operations, umpiring, on-field operations and security and facility management. He helped baseball expand internationally, securing MLB’s participation in the historic games with the Cuban National Team in 1999 and the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where Team USA won the Gold Medal. He also created MLB academies in Australia, Italy and Compton, California.

In April 2005, he returned to the front office and became Chief Executive Officer of the San Diego Padres. During his four years in San Diego, Mr. Alderson led the franchise to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in club history in 2005 and 2006, winning the National League West Division title both seasons.

He was responsible for the club’s daily business and baseball operations and instrumental in the inaugural World Baseball Classic to San Diego in 2006. He serves as a Director of Padres L.P. He served as a special consultant to the Commissioner for Latin America, leading the sport’s efforts to combat identity fraud and performance-enhancing drug use by baseball prospects. He was appointed by Commissioner Bud Selig to that position in March 2010. Mr. Alderson, whose baseball career spans four decades and includes six division titles, three American League pennants and one World Championship, signed a four-year contract through 2014 with a club option for 2015. He served four years as a Marine Infantry Officer with a tour of duty in Vietnam, holds degrees from Dartmouth College (1969) and Harvard Law School (1976).

Linda Alderson and her hubby are the parents of two. She gave birth to son, Bryn and daughter Cate. Both her children also attended Dartmouth.

Linda Alderson calls Falls Church, Virginia her hometown. She attended Falls Church High graduating in 1965. Linda studied Mathematics at the Mary Washington College, University of Virginia and also attended Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley for her MBA in Finance.

Meet Katherine Ramirez

Katherine Ramirez is the wife of MLB player Jose Reyes. Her 32-year-old Dominican hubby is currently a shortstop for the Colorado Rockies.

We usually tell you about players and their WAGS on a more happy note but this is not the case.

Recent reports indicate the couple who has been married since 2008 have major issues! Katherine Ramirez has accused her hubby and baby daddy of assaulting her!

The altercation between the couple went down during Halloween night. Katherine Ramirez claims Jose Reyes grabbed her from the neck and threw her into a glass door! Ouch!

Local police was called at the hotel room in Maui at the Four Seasons Hualalai, where Katherine and Reyes were staying. According to Hawaii News Now, Reyes was arrested on the spot.

It was determined Katherine Ramirez, had damage to her wrist, neck and thigh.

Jose Reyes has been in the MLB for 12-years. He has previously played for the Mets, Marlins and Blue Jays. He was traded to the Rockies in a blockbuster deal for Troy Tulowitzki in July.

The the four-time All Star was the National League’s stolen base king in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and won a batting title by hitting .337 in 2011.

The marriage of 7-years are the proud parents of three children, all girls. Katherine Ramirez gave birth to daughters, Katherine, Ashley and Joselyn.

Katherine Ramirez married Reyes at New York City Hall in July 2008, reported the New York Daily News at the time. They had a small ceremony only attended by close friends and family. The day of their wedding Reyes had a game, at the time he was with the Mets.

According to Playerswives, Katherine Ramirez met him during his rookie season in 2003. Though they had a small ceremony in NY, it was reported they later had a big and lavish party in their native Dominican Republic.

Only months after their wedding, scandal broke that Katherine’s man was involved in an affair with a pinup model named, Bentley Matthews. The New York Daily News said, Reyes’ agent, Chris Leible, said the allegation was an “absurd, trashy story.”

The couple sure has had their ups and downs, but, will they get through this one? Will Katherine Ramirez forgive and forget?
