Sahaira Sanchez
Sahaira Sanchez is the lovely MLB wag of Dominican catcher, Gary Sanchez. Her 23-year-old hubby, currently a rookie with the NY Yankees, has become the fastest player to hit 19 homeruns.
Reports say it took him 45 games to reach the mark. Sanchez hit his 19 hr of the season Wednesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Experts say the catcher –who made his MLB debut last year with the Yankees –has been unstoppable since rejoining the roster, producing at an extremely high level over his last 42 games.
Sanchez was born December 2, 1992 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He grew up in La Victoria, Dominican Republic and was raised by his mother and maternal grandmother. He has three brothers and a sister.
Things are looking good for the young Sanchez, that goes both on and off the field. When not busy doing his thing as a badass MLB catcher, he can be found spending some quality time with his lovely family.
Sanchez is already a married man. He and wife Sahaira –whom we assumed is also from DR –have been together for a few years now. It is not clear when exactly the couple wedded.
Sahaira has a long way to go as a wag. We predict in the future she will clean up her image a lot more. Right now she is focusing on being a supportive wife and a mommy for the couple’s adorable baby girl.
Sahaira Sanchez gave birth to daughter Sarah in 2014.
When speaking about the birth of their baby girl, a clearly overwhelmed Gary said:
“It is a beautiful experience to become a dad,” “It is kind of like once you become a dad, that’s your all and you want to make sure you can provide everything she needs. It was very important because, when she was born, it was kind of like a new life began for me because it is a lot of responsibility, so you want to make sure that you can give it your all so you can get to the big leagues and you can stay in the big leagues and, definitely, it is a changing experience.”
It’s clear where Sanchez gets his source of inspiration and renewed focus on the game. He often posts to social media, snaps of happy family moments. However Sahaira Sanchez likes to keep things a bit more private.
